- by Dr. Jones I am now 6 days post-op. About 80% of the crusts are off and the donor site is itchy, I'm anxoius to get the stitched out. I will probably have them out Wen. The donor site was closed with 3-0 proline. I think this is better than staples. We used the tricho closure described in my first newsletter. I'll be providing a photo of my scar a few months post-op. I will buzz my hair down to a #2 or #3 so everyone can get a good look. In my office I am the only one that performs fue. I use assistants to help remove the grafts, But I'm the only person that uses the punch in the extraction process. I am going to try a 12k run today, along with a yoga for 45 minutes. Again, I'm truly amazed at how little this procedure interferes with my life. Dr.J 0 comments - day 7
