- by Dr. Jones  Hello, It's hard to believe that it was a week ago today that I was sitting comfortably in the chair having these follicles inserted into my head. Most of the crusts are gone now and I'm anxious to have the stitches out. I think I'll wait till wednesday, I usually suggest to patients 9 or 10 days. The recipient site has been itchy as the last few crusts come off, Dr.J 2 comments - Day 8
