- by Dr. Jones My scalp and donor scar feel a bit numb, but the sensation is returning more and more daily. This can stay numb for up to a couple of months. My son and I are starting a book "A Complete Consumers Guide to Hair Loss for Men and Women" which will include updated information on hair transplants, medical treatment of hair loss, as well as cloning and hair multiplication. It should be available through my site by June or July. One poster has asked if I could shave the donor to show my scar. I will do this in the summer so everyone can get a good look 5 or 6 months post-op, Dr.j 5 comments - day 10
