Since my last update, which was quite some time ago, I have returned of course to doing everything. The first few weeks I returned to hockey weren't too bad. Wearing a helmet did not bother me all that much. I was able to wear a hat at work so nobody knew anything even when I would by chance have it off. There wasn't much shock loss to speak of. I cut my hair short in July and it was weird to see a hairline again. No problem as far as the scar is concerned, it has healed nicely. I did use minoxidil as recommended for the first few weeks and not since. I did not like it at all. I also have used Dr. Jones' treatment as well which is by far better and I'm not just saying that because it's his. It really is better. But as usual I do tend to get lazy with things of that sort and I haven't used it in a bit. Since I haven't updated for some time I had a chance to go back and see my progress in the pictures . I was surprised to see how far I've come along. I guess when you see it everyday you tend to not notice. There is a noticeable amount of thickness that I haven't had in such a long time. It may not look like it in some of the pictures but for what has come in thus far I can definitely tell. I still do have a bit of "numbness" or something along the lines of that in a small area. It still looks a little sparse in the front which bothers me because I was hoping that would fill in more than it has but I am in my 32nd week and can't wait to see how much more I progress because I have read that it can take up to a year for full results. I will try to be more timely with my updates.
