September 26 to October 17

Sep.26: After about 2 weeks all the scabs had come off and my head looks pretty much like it did before. The top of my head is still a bit numb but they say it is normal for that to last about a month. The stitches area is a little itchy but getting better. The only thing bugging me now is that after all that pain and effort I look the same as before! It takes 3-4 months before the hair starts growing in and 12 months before you see the full impact. In a way that is better since it is less noticable but there is no immediate gratification!

Oct.17: The numbness is decreasing but still there. Not much change in appearance although sometimes I feel like I have less than I did before. This is probably due to the shock loss. I've been using the minoxodil and just started the propecia to hopefully quicken the regrowth. Otherwise my life is totally back to normal. No one who didn't see me during the first two weeks would even suspect anything has been done.
