Day 9 and 10 Post-Op

Day 9
Ran 5 K today, had a really good sweat and the crusts are really coming off now. Decided to soak and then follow with the shower, running soapy water over my head. I can now begin to see what the new hairline will really look like and it's really quite remarkable. It looks so natural! You can barely see the spots from the donor area now as they are fading and the hair is really growing in. I'd say the hair is about a 2 and more or less conceals every thing.

Day 10
Went out on errands today without a cap on and nobody noticed anything, so that's pretty cool. Soaked and then under the shower only two times today, and have had to start picking off crusts as they are getting caught in my original hair that is growing like weed, it seems. My original hair does grow quickly, and I think the spray on minoxidil has helped to alleviate shock loss. I'll report on that as the month goes on. The transplanted hairs are beginning to shed and fall out now, and it's so sad to see them go! I'll be reporting in weekly at this point.
