As the first day continued the only thing that really started to bother me was the itchy feeling at my donor site stiches. I soaked in the tub twice yesterday and my teenage children laughed at me with visions of me lying in the tub. We went out for dinner and I think the kids were pleased when we were given a very private table so I could remove my hat. Once again, they laughed at me when they were convinced the waitress took a double take when she saw my head. I think it was their imagination. I still have not used any of the pain killers Dr. Jones prescribed. I just grew up in a household that did not use medication and I don't think I would describe anything I'm feeling as pain. What I really want to do is wash my hair! Dr. Jones was right; I didn't sleep very well and I woke up regularly with discomfort. Again, I wouldn't describe it as pain just itchy. 0 comments - Day 2
