Day 10

I had my stitches taken out today. As expected, (I've had lots of stitches)this was a quick and painless process. I was told that I can take showers as usual and I can rub the top of my head in the shower to speed up the process of the falling away of the scabs. Once the scabs are all gone, Dr. Jones has asked me to apply his scalp treatment once a day, before I go to bed for at least a year. Now the bad news for family and friends. The hair that has been transplanted will fall out and then it will gradually grow back in. Dr. Jones tells me that I should expect to have an almost full head of hair by Christmas. That reminds me of a contractor who built our family cottage and promised to have it ready for Christmas. Unfortunately, he never told me what Christmas! I'm fairly confident Dr. Jones means this Christmas. I'll keep you posted.
