Day 13

It has been almost two weeks since I had my surgery. The scabs are all gone. My head continues to be numb. (No that is not a type-o. I did say numb and not dumb) It appears that the transplanted hair is starting to thin out as I was told it would. I have started to apply a daily treatment of Dr. Jones Scalp Treatment as well I have been put on a daily dose of Avodart. Both products are supposed to stimulate regrowth of the hair. I would assume some people who wore a hair piece prior to their hair transplant just continue to wear the piece during the next few months of the process. As soon as my donor site incision heals up just a little bit more, I'm just going to cut my hair shorter so the contrast between the sides and top is not so significant. In the mean time I continue to wear my hat in public. It's not really because I look too bad, I always did, it is just because most people who know I had the procedure think that I should already have a full head of hair blowing in the wind. Dr. Jones is a doctor not a miracle worker!
