- by Dr. Jones I've been lucky in that my hair started to grow at about 8 weeks. Most of the time it takes 12 or even 16 weeks before growth starts. I have been using my scalp formula, shampoo and conditioner, as well as eating as healthy as possible. I am a health food nut, eating at least 4 to 5 portions of fruit and vegetable daily, as well as "Go Lean" every morning. I'm off meat, but still eat fish. I have stopped eating all dairy, I just drink soya products from Whole Foods. I also excersise at least once a day, keeping as fit as I can. All this healthy living has got to help! - by Dr. Jones   Hello, Thanks for your patience. I am pleased to say, my shocklossed hair in regrowing and many new hairs are filling in and I feel alot of stubble breaking through. I am going to qualify for "patient of the month" next month. My daughter came home from University yesterday and one of the first things she said was"Dad, you have more hair!" I've had a busy month, I ran the Big Sur Marathon on April 30th, I think it's one of the prettiest places on earth. The coastline is breathtaking. I've been doing lots of Yoga, and cheering on the Suns (now that the Raptors are out!). Hope to drive to Detrioit tomorrow to watch the Cleveland Detroit game. That was a real nail biter last nite for Detroit fans, I think they will take it back home tomorrow. Planning on running the Ottawa marathon next weekend with my brother-in-law, and have signed up for the Chicago Marathon in October. Please feel free to come by my office anytime if you are in the area to see my new growth. I has been a great experience to go through this procedure again.
