Dr. Robert Jones M.D. is very "hands on" and exclusively performs all microscopically prepared follicular unit hair transplantation with excellent results.
Unlike other physicians dedicated to hair transplant surgery in the Toronto area that do not even create their own graft incisions; Dr. Jones is extremely "hands on" in his approach to hair transplant surgery. Not only does Dr. Jones create all the graft incisions, determining the pattern and direction of the new hair, he also places the majority of the grafts personally.
Dr. Jones feels that being involved personally at every stage of the surgery is vital to controlling the artistic and aesthetic outcome of the surgery. Working closely with his very experienced staff, he can do up to 2,000 all microscopically created 1 to 4 hair grafts in a session.
Due to the "hands on" personal attention he and his staff give each patient, they often limit themselves to doing only one patient per day.
Dr. Jones does not charge for consultations and he does all of them personally. He has also had a hair transplant and can appreciate how a prospective patient feels in loosing their hair.
He believes strongly in building a solid doctor-patient relationship. Each step of the process, from the initial consultation, to the actual procedure(s), and follow-up care, is performed personally by Dr. Jones.
Dr. Jones studied at McMaster University’s Department of Medicine and took courses in cosmetic laser surgery at both Harvard and Loyola Universities. He has been practicing medicine since 1979. Dr. Jones and his staff now do microscopically prepared Follicular Unit hair transplants exclusively.
Dr. Robert Jones is a member of the International Society of Hair Restoration Surgery and he has been featured on CBC TV and other local television stations to discuss his state-of-the-art approach to hair restoration.
Dr. Jones does very little advertising. Instead he receives the majority of his patients as referrals from patients and from hair stylists and cosmetic surgeons.
His modest rates make him not only a great value in Toronto, but in North America.
