Well it has been over 15 months since I had my transplant done. I have had some great compliments from my barber. He told me that if I had not told him it was a transplant he would never have known. He also said that who ever did the job is a true artist. Thank you Dr. Jones for giving me back my confidence.

July 13/06

It has been 5 months since my operation and I am starting to see the results. Actually the other day I went to get a hair cut and the barber did not even know that I had done a hair transplant. It was a great feeling! I recommended your clinic to him. (since he was bald of course)

10 weeks post-op

It has been 2 months since my surgery and I feel more confident everyday. The numbness on the top of my head continues but I have begun to notice the growth of very small spikey hairs. Finally there was no change for the longest time and now I feel the growth starting to occur. I will keep you updated with the changes as they occur

Mike, Day 16

This is day 16 and the donor area of my head is still a little sensitive but healing nicely. I have hidden my baseball caps in the closet somewhere and don't plan to go looking for them again. The top of my head has completely healed and I am now in what Dr jones has refered to me as the "waiting period" - I'm confident that this wait will be worth it.

Mike, stiches removed

I had the stiches removed from my doner site today. As you can see there is a scar, but it will heal up well I'm sure and as soon as the hair starts to grow it will be hidden quite nicely. Even with the scar it is all worth it in the end. I will have a new head of hair thanks to Dr. Jones and his staff and I can start to look like my old self. It is just about time to say good bye of the baseball cap look!

Mike, week 2

eleven days since the transplant and all of the crust has fallen from my head. Now all I can do is wait and let the hair grow in - I can't wait! Tommorrow I will have the stiches removed from the donor area.

Mike, Day 6

Five days since the surgery; There hasn't been much change from yesterday - except that my head seems a little darker today than yesterday (though I'm sure i'm examining much closer than any of you). It is still pretty itchy on top and the tightness is still there.

Mike, Day 5

Each morning is a day closer to looking like my old self - this morning I woke feeling great, everything seems to be healing nicely. The swelling from yesterday has disappeared completely and the redness on the top of my head is gone.

Mike, Day 4

Today I went to work for the first time since the surgery and was able to perform work through the the day without any discomfort. There has been some visible swelling around my eyes, but this was to be expected. There is no pain on my head where I had the work and the redness has lessend considerably. Feeling good - anxious to see those hairs coming in.

Mike, Day 3

Two days since the surgery, things are going well. As you can see by my pictures some of the scabbing has already fallen off. I have had some swelling under my eyes but it is very minimal. The pain has decreased considerably and I feel great.

Mike, Day 2

One day since my surgery and I feel pretty good. I had a 2700 graft strip procedure.
The redness on the top of my head isn't painful at all - I took the recommended pills for the swelling and they seem to be working great. My only discomfort is my scalp is a little itchy and tight. Even though it's only been one day, I was able to function normally; as if nothing had happened.

Mike, Day 1, 2700 graft strip

Today I had my surgery and it went great. From the moment that I entered the office Dr. Jones' staff made me feel relaxed. During my procedure the staff and I spoke about various subjects such as our children, movies, politics etc. This gave me a sense that I was in a room with friends just having a great conversation. I would recommend Dr. Jones and his staff to anyone considering a hair transplant. I would just like to say thank you for the great job you all did.
